People, an egg producer faces a price squeeze. Truly the egg basket is half empty in this case. OK so this is due to rising price of corn. What is the reason. Production of ethanol from grain. Sadly, most of that comes from corn. Shortages of grain increase farmer expenses. This causes an increase in egg prices.
