Future that wasn't

In 1939 the worlds fair had a future vision. It was quite different than what we see now. Time is a funny thing in how it plays on.

men on mars

They say men are from mars. Also, that women come from venus. Well, going to mars is on the back burner for now. I use to dream of terraforming the cold dry red planet into a second earth that was wet and warm. Hey, sorry, but we ran out of money. It does cost a lot to explore space. "No bucks = no Buck Rogers" goes the saying. With our current economic crisis, it will be a long time before we exit our recession. That means no future on mars.

Quick charge station for your electric car

In the future we will see more vehicles with electric power. Look for quick charge stations for your electric car. This is what we see. A future where on every road there could be an electric car.

Future events

There are many people who focus on future events. Time Monk george ure talks about dollar death in the days to come. People, we are now concern about what is down the road a bit. Lets face it, our gov is not being total transparent with us. Writing about future events in our niche is a great way to gain audience, but it can be a sad thing. It seems most events in the future are not particularly pleasant.

Television's future is here

They say we are going to have higher rez, however, in the internet I still see a lot of 320X240 video. HD is super slow and jerky. TV is web, but that future is not here yet. In fact, we could say that we are waiting for more bandwidth.

Folks for streaming HD we are going to need a big boat load of bandwidth. Also, paying $99/mo for a high speed connection is naff. What we need is megabytes at a micro price. The future of television is over an internet, but not the one we have now.

eggs tell our story

When you look back at our time of giant cities and factory farms, many will remember a simpler time. A time when people on small farms were raising chickens on table scraps. The protein in egg is easy to digest and the birds can produce a lot of eggs from a small amount of feed.

However prices of eggs in the future are much higher than now. That is because there are food shortages. People have to scrounge across many areas to find food. OK my goal is to understand how to go back to a time when people were happy, and chickens were not raise on a factory farm.

exec pay

Business man with his team behind him isolated on white photo

Future executives are going to experience a new world; yes gone are the perks they were used to. A new society will place a cap on pay. This is to prevent a repeat of the executives you run companies into the ground while they get big bonuses. People, exec pay is too high. It should be maybe 10X that of an average minimum wage worker, instead of 10,000X.
