Double Dip?

I am not talking about a double dip ice cream cone. This is about a double dip depression or recession. Friends, let us be honest men and women. I do not believe we got out of our last recession. Hey, I am not talking about last year. We went into this thing in 1999 with the crash of the dot coms. However, we never came out, but our gov prop up the economy with cheap money.
Sadly, it is now time to pay up our pipers. They are countries like red china and japan. Problem is we have no money. OK so we are slipping and double dipping.

Future price of eggs

I see that many people are now planting gardens and have seeds growing. Banks are now reluctant to loan money. It is that they fear people will not pay. The effect of this economic malady is a recession. Many people are now raising chickens to get eggs. This is because you can feed them on table scraps. That said, the future price of eggs is going up. Inflation will hit basic resources. You will soon pay more for gas. People do well to plant vegetables and grow corn. Get ready for what is coming.

gov says recession is over

The good news is we are using less fossil fuels. Of course this means less greenhouse gases are generated. However, the reason is our severe economic recession. Well, now we hear from our gov that our recession is over.
Folks, that would be max grand, but the avalanche is just getting started with a massive loss of jobs next year. For a real recovery to take place we need people to have jobs so the can save money. All this borrow and spend got us to where we are now.

recession jobs
OK are some jobs more recession resistant than others? I believe that we can look at an increase in crime. Prediction is more security related positions.Back in the 1930's the crime rate rose. The reason was that many people without work turn to stealing to survive. There is a delicate balance when staffing in an economic recession. Business does not want the quality of service to suffer, but must keep costs down to a minimum.
Here is my prediction. People will still spend money on food, but items that are not essential to human life will get cut from the budget. Think of things such as pricey high end electronics. However, even the bag boy at the grocery store is out of work. People have to bag their own. Automatic check out machines are replacing cashiers.

recession vs restaurants
Today we see that the news says there are 4,000 less restaurants than last year. Financial collapse is hitting all sectors of the economy, even the service areas. This severe economic recession is beginning to bite even recession resistant fast food. In terms of casual dining I can tell you that many are on the ropes. The situation is getting ugly as people try to save money.
