The answer is never! For us to return would require a lot of money we do not have, so we are never going back to the moon. As they say no bucks, no buck rogers. In fact, lunar exploration will take a back seat to other pressing problems. Remember that we have a lot of crisis down here on earth to worry about going to the moon.
