economy in spin cycle

When you are in recovery you open new plants, you do not close existing ones due to slow sales. However, our american economy is in a spin cycle. Whirlpool plans to close plant in evansville, indiana costing over 1,000 jobs. This at a time when unemployment is near 10%. Lets face facts, there is no recovery.

recession jobs

Newspaper opend to the want ads. Magnifying glass highlighting the word Jobs. photo

OK are some jobs more recession resistant than others? I believe that we can look at an increase in crime. Prediction is more security related positions.Back in the 1930's the crime rate rose. The reason was that many people without work turn to stealing to survive. There is a delicate balance when staffing in an economic recession. Business does not want the quality of service to suffer, but must keep costs down to a minimum.

Here is my prediction. People will still spend money on food, but items that are not essential to human life will get cut from the budget. Think of things such as pricey high end electronics. However, even the bag boy at the grocery store is out of work. People have to bag their own. Automatic check out machines are replacing cashiers.

pay phones are gone

It seems that every year there are fewer pay phones to choose from when you are out on vacation. Disappearing pay phones are a problem. True many rich people wonder how many poor people can get by without a cellular telephone, but not everybody can afford the luxury of a cell phone. For the poor who could get their hands on a quarter, their use to be the public telephone, but those days are gone.

no recovery is near

Flag Cash photo

OK even as debunkers speak of an economic recovery, our US economy's underlying financial infrastructure continues to slowly erode away. The gains of the 90's are being lost as we erase our power base.

This is meltdown 101 as we swim in an ocean of red ink and are drowning in debt. People we are going down fast. All this talk of recovery is bunk.

start saving money

Red Piggy Bank Isolated On A Background photo

Folks, we need to start saving money. US gov now spends 185% of what it takes in. That is a recipe for massive hyperinflation like we saw in weimar germany. OK remember people buying food with wheel barrows full of money? Well, it seems Obama is taking his economic advice from that economist Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe - our cause is max camzarian. Well, we are well on our way to a Zimbabwe Hyperinflation scenario now.

Why gas is going up

Street intesection in Boston historical North End photo

People, our world is awash in cheap oil, consumers are buying less, their large storage tanks are fill to the gill. OK so why is the price of gas going up? Well, what is taking place is that the dollar is weaker. Short term oil is going up because we pay for barrels using green pieces of paper.

Trouble in the vaults

Saudi family responsible for twenty billion dollar bank fraud. This could rock the banking world to its core.

The fraud could cause major US financial institutions to fail. Perhaps we are not being told the magnitude of the crisis due to a massive cover up.

Time Travellers Wife

It is a science fiction movie that has elements of romance. OK many wonder about how a truly long distance relationship would work. It may come as a shock, but there are people who claim to be time travellers. For example, CarlosX robot repairman claims to have work in 2150's repairing androids in a world where most work is done by mechanoids that look and feel almost human.

Unemployment up = Foreclosures up

Recently fired businessman holding a cardboard box filled with his belongings. Isolated on white. photo

Due to a rise in job losses, foreclosure pain is worse. Of course, debunkers say that all is fine. Well, things are not fine at all for people without jobs. They are losing their houses, cars, etc. Skeptics that claim that there are plenty of jobs need to see the numbers. For every available job there are over ten qualified applicants.

Future newspapers

OK using electronic ink and highly advanced breakthrough technology, future newspapers will be a great leap forward. It is my guess that future newspapers will use internet for delivery of content. People want it fast and new news will be updated on a constant basis.

Why time goes in only one direction

This is a big question in physics. OK many wonder why is time's arrow not double ended? Time flows in only one direction, but science is closing in on the answer. Perhaps we can soon learn time travel physics.

eggs tell our story

When you look back at our time of giant cities and factory farms, many will remember a simpler time. A time when people on small farms were raising chickens on table scraps. The protein in egg is easy to digest and the birds can produce a lot of eggs from a small amount of feed.

However prices of eggs in the future are much higher than now. That is because there are food shortages. People have to scrounge across many areas to find food. OK my goal is to understand how to go back to a time when people were happy, and chickens were not raise on a factory farm.

What will take place soon

Buckle up, its gonna be a bumpy ride. Folks, we are in a down cycle. The current upswing of stock market is a false rally. Big biz is falling apart. Sales are weak and getting worse. Future news is about shortages of food.

Bullet Train in your future?

Modern Train

The future was suppose to be a bullet train. It would be a maglev that uses solar power generated electricity. However, it seems that a funny thing happen on the way to the future. That is we ran out of money. Without big bucks we cannot build this dream land ecotopia. In fact, I see a very dystopian tomorrow.

jobs in short supply

under construction (focus point on the hard-hat and hand, special photo toned f/x) photo

The numbers are in, retail sales are down, unemployment in rise. OK, we should expect as much because our gov wants us to pull out of a steep nose dive, but with higher taxes and less jobs, sales will go down. Also, lower sales mean more jobs will not take place, in fact, fewer jobs down the line.

Authority Blog

I am on my way to creating an authority blog on fringe science. The idea is to focus on what others are reluctant to cover. It is so we will find new information about our universe.

Newt defends Sarah

Newt Gingrich defends Sarah Palin on death panels. This is an important development because many on the left were denouncing her. This we see is because they want to ration health care. Liberals want to claim that "non-productive" citizens such as disables, retarded, and seniors - are leaches. They want to get rid of granny.

These are the same liberal that say it is OK to kill unborn babies with comments like "don't fetus any garbage". They feel little children are garbage. When Obama made fun of special olympics he showed his true colors.

implantable brain stimulator

brain photo

Medtronics has an implantable brain stimulator to treat OCD. This sounds so Frankenstein to me. I mean implanting devices in a persons brain to control him. It is like right out of a bad science fiction movie.

Big jump at your pump

First it was look oil is going down, now gas prices increase as oil top $72/b. Still remember people telling me that peak oil was a hoax. Well, guess again. Gasoline is now going up. I predict that future of oil prices is up.

homeless problem?

Well, there are 18.7million vacant homes in the United States so lack of housing is not the reason. Perhaps, we can now see that there is a real recession turning into a depression.

news corp in woe

Mother and father with young daughter at a shopping mall photo

Rupert Murdoch company News Corp swings to a loss. People are not shopping as much as before. Sales are way down, so stores advertise less on newspapers.

This hit Rupert Murdoch like a freight train. He vows to start changing now for internet news. The company will soon circle the drain.

Obama birth in question

US law says president must be born in US. There are those who say that President Obama was born in Kenya to a Kenyan Father and a 16 year old american mom. OK since she was under age she cannot pass on citizenship they say. Perhaps the finding of a birth certificate from Coast General Hospital in Mombasa Kenya can clear things up.

worse recession ever

statues of unemployed men standing in a unemployment line during the Great Depression at the FDR Memorial in Washington, D.C. photo

Worst recession ever is going even worse. People we need to talk to old folks who lived thru the great depression of the 1930's. He may be old now, but one told me that when he was a boy they had to turn over all their gold to the gov. If you held out, they put you in jail. Expect things to get ugly.

exec pay

Business man with his team behind him isolated on white photo

Future executives are going to experience a new world; yes gone are the perks they were used to. A new society will place a cap on pay. This is to prevent a repeat of the executives you run companies into the ground while they get big bonuses. People, exec pay is too high. It should be maybe 10X that of an average minimum wage worker, instead of 10,000X.
