music in my ears
In 1991 people in US spent 14 billion on music. Today the number is approx half that. Adjusted for inflation perhaps one third of what we use to spend on music. The reason is digital downloads. What we see is less people selling out hard cash for those expensive CD disks, and more people using the internet to get their songs. Future music predictions are more distribution over the internet and less broadcast over radio.
