phones

Back in the 1800's inventor Alexander Graham Bell created a telephone to replace the telegraph that was so common. His idea did not quickly catch on. In fact, in 1900 less than 10% of houses had one. Still it slowly did grow. People now see the telephone as much better than sending a letter for many reasons. It is super quick, interactive, and most important easy. After all, anyone can use a phone, but to send a letter one must learn to read and write which takes years. That is why using the cell phone is popular all over.
