Fall of the Mall

This year sales are way down. The fall of the mall is one subject that few are addressing. As retail sales plummet more malls will fail. This means a loss of jobs at a time when unemployment is already at a 25 year high. Dramatic declines across the board signal a long slow summer.

US price for new homes falling

OK so some say this is a good thing. After all houses are more affordable now. US home prices continue to fall. However, this is a sign that the economic recession is not over.

China goes electric

China plans to switch to mostly electric cars within a decade. They want to dominate the new car market with economical electric vehicles.

Their plan is to saddle US with legacy automobile manufacturers that produce gas guzzlers as petroleum prices rise. This will enable them to take over.

Interesting, but using astral time travel to the 2050's most of the cars I saw use gas. The dream pull in vehicles will remain just that for a long time to come.

Speaking of the future, Steven Gibbs has a new web site HDRnow with time travel reports.

Declining Dollar

People, our gov is completely and totally destroying our financial system, to the extent that we are a mere shadow of what we could be. A dollar sell off and higher interest rates in the future is what I see.

GM going down will hit us like a freight train, and the damage will be incredible. The stock will soon become worthless. As for future stock picks it seems that pharma will continue to do well. People need to have some hope and the promise of a cure.

GM near bankruptcy

GM bankruptcy is likely, in fact, this can surprise no one. With union workers making $50/hour it cannot compete with China's automobile manufacturers that have the same caliber labor for fifty cents an hour.

Right now, anyone with stock in world's former largest automaker can feel a bit scare. In fact, unions can see what happen when you make 100X more than you can in other places. As always, car sales are way gone.

North Korea tests nuke

Today, North Korea set off a nuke that was 20 kilotons, about the same as the atom bomb that flatten Hiroshima and Nagasaki. In fact, there is no doubt that North Korea is working on an intercontinental ballistic missile to deliver its nuclear payload.

Sadly, our world is less safe now due to the North Korean nuke test. Diplomacy failed to achieve its objective. There is fear this could cause an escalation.

High Tech is hit with recession

High Tech humbled by our recession. Sectors in the economy that were supposed to be recession proof are being slammed by an economic crisis that keep getting worse.

Foreclosures are hitting the Silicon Valley. Meanwhile, skeptics claim that everything is fine, but when Google is laying people off, you know we are in trouble.

When are we going back to the moon?

The answer is never! For us to return would require a lot of money we do not have, so we are never going back to the moon. As they say no bucks, no buck rogers. In fact, lunar exploration will take a back seat to other pressing problems. Remember that we have a lot of crisis down here on earth to worry about going to the moon.

PEAK OIL now

Peak oil means an end to our society. Because modern petrochemicals are the key components in the production of plastics our current economy depends on large quantities of cheap oil. However, in the near future we will see a ramp up in prices.

Already, we witness last year oil hit $147/barrel. Well, guess what, it will go up in the future because of instability in the Middle East. Try to see what this means. People will claim that our trouble are temporary, but instead we are entering a new phase - one where grow will decline and power runons increase.

California in chaos

The brutal budget deficit that California faces means states will begin to fall apart. Arnold knows the state is broke. He is begging for a bailout from DC. People, we are reaching a tipping point. With falling income tax and sales tax revenue the state can no longer meet its financial liabilities.

Expect more states to follow as unemployment increase. Also, I said that as state increase sales tax there will be less money for people to buy things. The situation next year will be worse when people realize we are in a false rally and the stock market crashes. It looks grim.

Future of News

What is the future of news? OK so we see a lot of newspapers folding. That means more distribution over the internet, but what about reporters and other more traditional journalists? In fact, we wonder how this will affect the distribution of information.

Perhaps, we can see a world were news is truly global. A place were news is also local. The big problem is that most sites focus on global news, not on what takes place in small communities close to where you live.

Digg on SEO

At one time Digg was a great way to find new sources of information. It allows people to get exposure for their website. People by voting can prop or drop a story/article. However, this year Digg smashed much of their work to prevent spam. Digg is now worthless for SEO, as it shortens your URL and makes it a bigg mess.

Lordsburg Vortex

There use to be photographs on the internet of the Lordsburg Vortex, also known as the Lordsburg Gate. Sadly, these were taken down, but it appears to be an area of high strangeness in the New Mexico desert.

A type of dimensional doorway or portal in time and space to both the future and the past. This area has many UFO reports. Tragically, the region is run down now and few people live there. Still it is interesting to find a grid point vortex in a remote region.

The Lordsburg Door The Lordsburg Door 1o6 Locals say the fabled passageway is a sort of vortex, or portal that bridges both time and dimension. The Door is one proffered explanation for why the past and the future so often seem to meet in Lordsburg in the form of living pterosaurs, supernatural entities and futuristic aircraft.

future travel

The world we live in today would have seemed like the work of a magician to people from the time of Christ. 2000 years ago, the concept of space travel, heck even air travel would have seemed like something only angels could do.

Yet when I tell people about time travel, they giggle and smile, but I tell you that nothing is impossible. The day when astral time travel is common is coming; yes, one day we will realize greater things than you can currently imagine.

Economics Humor

Here is some humor for you. This are not as bad as they seem, they are worse!

That said a little laughter could help us get through the day. As always we feel that a joke can help lighten the mood which over the last few days has been as dark as before a thunderstorm. The sky will clear and we shall see a brighter day in our future.

Chrysler on road to ruin

Endgame is that we are bailing out losers that will not and cannot survive. OK so we are on the path to create more zombie companies that are half dead. Remember Japan stock marjet in 1989 was 35,000, and now it is 9,000.

our future is golden

Gold will go over $2,000 soon. Manoftruth says gold at $2,000 and he was right about the collapse of the real estate market, so get ready. Basically, the gov printed too much paper money so it will become worthless.

Migraine Suffering

It is a debilitating disease that affects many people. Migraines are not just painful, but they interfere with your daily life. The fortification spectra of teichopsia or zigzag lines that accompany a migraine headache are disconcerting.

However, one solution is to find the trigger that causes the side splitting headache. Typically this is something you are sensitive to like chocolate or cheese. Fermented products like wine can also be triggers. Happily once the trigger is remove persons can live without the migraine and its teichopsia of zigzag lines that looks like a fortification spectra.

GM execs sell their stock

The rats are leaving the sinking ship. Its stocks drop today on worries GM is going DOWn. Selloff in stock is making people worry that there might more economic crisis instead of a recovery.

GM gone

General consensus is GM is going under. It was once world's largest but Fritz Henderson, CEO of General Motors worries his company may not be able to make June 1 deadline. Sales of cars are way down in our economic recovery. In fact the severe recession is getting worse.

Saturday, May 9, 2009

crisis is over?

OK, many say economic recovery is on. Get real, the stress tess is a joke. People, we need to wake up to reality.

A free press no more?

Plans to close Boston Globe sadden me. The founding fathers fought for our liberty and wanted a free press. If we continue to lose newspapers the voice of freedom itself could be diminished. Sadly, as more and more newspapers close their doors, people have less access to the truth. Folks we must not be silent; let freedom ring.

WHO says world wide pandemic

WHO says they may raise to level six the highest level of alert for a global flu pandemic. Currently we stand at level five. OK as global situation gets worse, we may see the mexican swine flu affect our economy.

Sunday, May 3, 2009

mexicans told to stay home

The mexican swine flu is getting worse. People are told to stay home. With a growing number of infections, the chance of a global pandemic is increasing. WHO is getting ready to declare a level six global pandemic of mexican swine flu.

Great Influenza Epidemic of 1918.

There is a lot we can learn from the flu epidemic of 1918. For example, in Sept 1918 Royal Copeland, NYC Health Commissioner, said, "The city is in no danger of an epidemic. No need for our people to worry." However, a month later in Oct 1918 was our deadliest month in our nation's history because 195,000 Americans died of influenza. In NYC 581 people died in one single day!
